If the Shoe fits...

- If the shoe fits...wear it. If it's too big, or too small, then it might not be the right shoe for you...
- Try to imagine what it might feel like to walk a day in another person's shoes...
- If you get your superball stuck in the shoe you should dig and try to flip it out...

All of these statements can provoke some important self-reflection for ourselves to help get in touch with ourselves and who we really are, as well as trying to facilitate relationships with others. We often make excuses for who we are, or what we do. We often deny the very words or things that might truly describe who we are...and for what? Wasted words and thoughts - you are who you are, wear the shoe that fits you and be proud...do not make excuses for you or for the things that make up who you are.

We are so quick to judge others to assume certain things without really know what they might be going through or what their shoes might feel like on our feet. Instead of being quick to judge, maybe we can consider for the moment that their reactions or personalities are a result of their life experiences.

When you get sick of the shoes altogether, hide your superball in it...it's Hagar boys favorite game and really no relevance to anything for self reflection...

Bottom line - if the shoe fits, wear it and before you judge someone, imagine what it must feel like to walk a day in their shoes.
