A reminder from my forever friend...

It is with tear filled eyes that I compose what is most likely the last post to Hagar Daily for now. It's taken a few months to even get to this point. I find myself moving on, as the world continues to do around me, even though my heart still aches for my Hagarboy, the friend he was and the bond we shared. We have two new puppies in the family now, Oscar and Louie who are already a light back in the house, offering joy and laughter - they are helping Kevin and I begin the next chapter of our lives together and we hope to give the love and service to these two babies as we did for Hagar and he for us for 10 amazing years. He led us to them, and we will give the best life that we can - a not too shabby life at that.

This blog was inspired by Hagar....he would inspire a thought or a picture or vise verse and then the words just came, to inspire myself and to hopefully inspire others. He was no ordinary dog....he was my Hagarboy.

Today I find myself at my desk plugging away at the workday and taking blow after blow to the heart over things gone wrong in the world. Things people say, their judgements, lack of understanding of a situation or feeling as though you need to explain to the world why or how you do things. For some reason, I popped back to Hagar Daily and was reminded immediately to stop, take a step back and to remember the journey we created together, the daily posts that we created together. That these are all life lessons, the world continues on and people are people. It's been 3 months since we lost our pup and I still miss him more than ever. I am grateful for the journey we created together and will be reminded again to stand up and keep living - knowing and trusting my heart, my intuition, my intellect.

Vow to commit to caring and loving no matter what others may say or do, or how they act. Continue to love all beings unconditionally and to work at being the best person you can be day after day. This is part of our life work and we will help be the change that we hope to see in others and the world as a whole.

Thank you to everyone who has read and supported this blog...Thank you to my Hagarboy...I love and miss you, you are my forever friend.
