Finding a Balance...

Finding a Balance...

When do we sleep, when do we wake up, how can we complete our daily tasks and work a full day? How much should we eat verses want to eat? How can we create quality time with friends, family and our significant other all at the same time? How can we please others while keeping ourselves at peace and caring for our own needs?

The definition for balance is having a state of equilibrium or equipoise; equal distribution of weight, amount. It is composed of mental stability or equilibrium. The truth is that there is no right or wrong answer to these questions or perfect solution as to how to have it all. It's up to us to be still and connect with our breath with each experience we have in order to create a sense of equilibrium.

Today, take a moment to stop and check your current state of tasks, to-do's obligations, chores and commitments. Ask yourself if you are maintaining your mental stability all the while having to assess them all. If the answer is no, it's time to let something go.

I can only balance one ball at a time...

Take that first step...

We stand on the side walk and look around at the plush grass or big fields, we just know they are waiting for us to charge into them and roll around, run, bark and play. But what else might be out there? A rodent? A big dark hole we could fall into? We could get hurt, we could fall down? What about the blades of grass that have grown too big that you can't see past them? The unknown? Do you play it safe and stay on the sidewalk? Do you take the chance?

Dreaming is doing, and it's up to us to live each day without letting fear tie us to our sidewalk, our day-to-day path of routine and comfort. We can sit around all day waiting and wanting life to happen but unless we take that chance, take that first step, no matter how big or small, we can never fully experience all that it has to offer. Today, take a different route to work and get lost, try a new food, take up a hobby, explore a getaway, journal a fear...take that first step.

With so much experience and potential ahead of us, we need to get off of the paved comfortable sidewalk. Go ahead, take that first step, give it a try...from there the next step won't be so hard.

Come on...bring it in...

Come on...where've you been? Bring it in for a big hug...

Good Morning, how was your est? Bring it for a big hug...

Had a bad day? Bring it for a big hug...

Sometimes the best words are no words at all, but an endearing, big lovable hug from puppy or someone you love. It can say exactly what you need to hear and comfort the heart like nothing else. Share and spread the love today. Give someone, anyone a big hug from Hagar...
