Walk the Walk...

Have you ever had a song stuck in your head and found yourself walking to the beat of that song? Maybe you're walking in a parking lot or down a sidewalk and that song pops into your head - you start marching to the beat, you add a little pep into your step and suddenly it feels like you're the main character in a movie and the background music is playing for you!

As Hagarboy pops up and down the sidewalk, I feel like I'm on the runway listening to "Stayn' Alive" by the Bee Gee's. It adds that additional little bounce and I find it sets the tone for the day. My mood is lifted, I smile and take a look around. Whenever my walk feels heavy, is weighted down by stress, anxiety, lack of sleep or worry, I try to play this song in my head while I walk - it helps reset my mood and sets the tone for my day and the way I will interact with people.

Put that song on and walk the walk to guide you through the day...
