Stay on top...

We have talked in the past about reaching our goals, about getting to the top, conquering that steep staircase...but what do we do once we get there? How can we determine that we've made it to our goal safely in a healthy state of mind, and how do we ensure that we stay there. Maybe we've not yet reached our goal and need to do some visualization to help us along our way.

Getting to the top is not the final reward, it's each step that we took along the way to get there. The experience along the way, the 'two steps forward, one step back,' emotions, pitfalls, risings, interactions that make us the best version of ourselves once we get to the top. If you're stuck in the middle of that staircase, close your eyes and envision what it will feel like when you get to the top, see what it will look like, feel the emotion - pretend you're already there. If you're at the top, glance back at all of those steps, remember how each one has helped bring you to where you are.

It's a tall staircase, take a moment to think about the top, getting there and being there...
