My Rock...my foundation

The only constant in life is change...so in this whirlwind around us, moving, shaking, going, speeding in a flurry of events, experiences, emotions, relationships, challenges, celebrations and so much more, we find solice, steady support in our foundation.

Like a mountain that rises high enough above the clouds so that the sunlight ALWAYS hits it's peak, we find steady in our foundation, like a rock. People, emails, interactions, conversations, drama will take place around us, constantly moving like clouds around the mountain, but we remain firm and strong. We may wish they go away, but who would shade our valleys, who would provide season and rain for our growth? We can experience, embrace it all and have gratitude for it all while remaining unaffected, and strong. 

Today, I will stand on my rock, my foundation, and let the clouds go by, knowing who I am, what I stand for, loving and grateful for all of it.
