Like water on a duck's back...

Have you ever seen water on a duck's back? No matter how submerged their bodies become, water seems to collect into droplets behind their necks and eventually rolls down their feathers back into the water. If you watch, their feathers always seem, or appear to be dry - if they were to soak up all of the water that they float along in, they might not float so much and eventually begin to sink.

Think of stress, anxiety, other people's opinions or the things they say as the water around us - then think of yourself as the duck. If we were to soak up and internalize everything negative that came across our path, we'd eventually start to drown, we'd sink and find it hard to breath, the water, rising above us in the form of all of these outside circumstances. It pulls us down, depresses us, holds us back, chocking and eventually drowning us - we are pulled DOWN by these things. We need to think of our body in the same way of our friends the duck, buoyant, and free, floating along letting everything just roll off our backs and in to the water.

Float along, let it roll off your back today and don't let anything soak in to weigh you down...Something becomes to much...use your wings and fly to another pond...
