Keep your Candy Dish FULL!

There is nothing like the sound of candy pouring into a dish...the clickety clank of the candies as they fill up a bowl inviting people to dig in. Little morsels of goodness that act as a tasty treat to munch on. With each bite brings a little bit of enjoyment and happiness, a little bit of laughter and a feeling of togetherness. We bring out the candy dish during a party, when people come over to visit, we keep it out during holidays to brighten up a room with colors matching the theme of the season. We keep a bowl at our desks encouraging people to stop by and say hello. We offer a little bit of sweetness for others to share in.

What if we think of our life as a big old candy dish? Our lives get filled up with people and things that make us happy, bring a sense of goodness, sweetness, togetherness. We would want our lives to look like what our candy dish looks like, filled up, filled with bright colors, tasty treats and thinks that just make us go mmmmmmm.... Overflowing with goodness, sweetness and happiness. We wouldn't fill up our candy dish with dirt or ashes, bugs or salt or anything else that wouldn't make us feel good, so why fill up our lives with the same things? When we focus on the negative, or do things that aren't good for us, it's like filling up the candy dish with something other than candy.

Fill up your candy dish today with things that make you smile and make your body say YUM! Share some with the puppy...
