Have you ever tried to keep in a laugh, or hold back your tears? Stopped yourself from saying what you really want to say? Held back excitement, sadness, anger or fear? These are all very real emotions that can take over our entire body. By holding them in or holding back, we limit the space to which we COULD grow into, we prevent ourselves from feeing and releasing, thus limiting our growth overall.
Let the emotion out, feel the feeling, recognize that your emotions are REAL and need to be expressed. Repressed emotions turn into bitter memories that can eventually hold us back in life. By feeling emotions as they come to us, we release them and allow ourselves to completely BE in the moment, live in the present.
Look closely, even if you're not really good at showing or releasing emotion, we do so subtly even if by wagging our tails...
