Yesterday was the first day I got out my warm winter sweater. I forgot how cozy it was and how much I enjoy the kind of weather that allows me get out all the colorful, warm, fashionable sweaters I own. To get all snuggled in on the couch and turn on the heat maybe for the first time of the year and melt in the feeling of warmth...to curl up with a good book, a good cookie, a favorite movie and the ones I love.
For as much as I enjoy the summer, I also enjoy putting on my winter sweater and basking in the feeling of soft security...what is your favorite winter sweater? What was it like the first time you put it on this time of year...notice and live in that very moment for although it doesn't seem like anything monumental, it helps keep us in the present.
