Traveling can be both stressful, yet rewarding. If you are planning to take a trip try to follow these steps before you go - they are what I live by and help me stay organized and calm on long trips. 1. Make a list of what you need to pack - that way you will make sure you don't forget anything
2. Pack only the essentials that you need for your trip - overpacking will create unnecessary stress
3. Before you put items in a bag / suitcase, fold them neatly on your bed so that you can mark these items off your of your list
4. Pack some cookies and enough toys to keep you busy if you get stuck somewhere
5. Make sure your bag is not too heavy to lift - you might want to reconsider how many toys you pack if the bag is too heavy
6. Do a final walkaround of your house to make sure all cookies are hidden in a proper place before you go
7. Make sure you tell a loved one that you will be gone...not a stranger, but someone you love should know where you are
8. Make sure you have good directions and if you get lost, stop and ask or ask the lady that talks through the car
By following these simple tools, you will be able to enjoy your travels, kick back and put your paws up...
