Smiling is contagious…once you smile at someone, it invites them to smile back…a friendly gesture as a sign of being content, pleased, amused or just plain happy. Across breeds, smiling is used as a means of communicating emotions…but you shouldn’t’ show too much teach when you smile at other puppies because it might be confused as a snarl.
When the day is grey and you feel weary, try to flex the muscles most notably near both ends of your mouth and just smile.
