Patience is a virtue! Or so the saying goes – whatever that means…. Patience is the opposite of reacting anxiously or becoming somewhat demanding for something you want. For example, if you are waiting for your water dish to be filled or for your food to be replenished, you should sit quietly while you wait. Barking or jumping does not speed up this process.
You should try puppy self control instead of demanding what you want whenever YOU want it. How many times have you barked, gotten anxious or jumped around…would have been better to wait? Usually you will hear “no NO puppy” when you are not patient. Instead, listen to the word “stay,” as it means to wait or be patient and then that will usually be followed by “Good Dog” from your owner. Patience is not only a virtue but a necessity for a happy K9 life.
Tell your puppy - Good Puppy…
