Outside Sources

It is easy to let outside sources and forces affect our mood. The rain or a gloomy overcast day can make us feel tired, sluggish or a bit on the grouchy side. We can feel happy and motivated on a sunny day and let’s not get into how we can feel in 0 degree temperature with 6ft of snow on the ground. Sometimes we don’t even want to get up to go potty outside in fear of getting our paws wet.

…Something someone says or does can make us feel a certain way can turn our mood on an instance just like the weather.

It is important to stay neutral to the weather and those around you… make a conscious effort not to let these outside forces affect how you feel on the inside. If you start to feel like the weather or someone or something might be influencing your mood or is affecting the way you respond in daily activities, take a moment and reevaluate what is going on. Make the choice to stay calm, positive and neutral, no matter what the sky looks like and take steps to keep on a positive path to get through the day unaffected.
