Anything is good in moderation. Moderation is the idea of eliminating or lessening extremes when it comes to daily activities, hobbies, things that you enjoy, etc. For example, you should make sure that you do not sleep the entire day away because you enjoy napping, or you should not bark too much because you feel like talking. If you bark too much, you will promote stress in your home and increase the amount of times that your name is shouted at louder volumes followed by "No, NO's." Try to increase your awareness on the amount of cookies you eat, the amount you squeak your toys, scratch behind your ears which makes your collar jingle, or lick your paws.
The only time you should not worry about moderating an activitiy is when it comes to getting petted snuggled or hugged - in which case more is more...
